Exceptional

Liked: the best postion, excellent room facilities, friendly staff and clean room, it is close to Times Square but it has a quiet space. There is a supermarket on the corner and not far from the subway. I had a very satisfying experience at Civilan. Thanks!

Perfect base in NYC

Liked: Perfect base for exploring New York, easy to get around using the subway or walking. Loved the decor of the room & comfortable beds.
Disliked: As expected the small rooms with two big suitcases was difficult to manoeuvre but manageable.

Great staff, great location, great...

Liked: The rooms were a little small but functional, well appointed, clean and sufficient. You can really take chances in NYC where you either pay over the top or end with a poorly maintained room, or both. The Civilian was good value and a very nice hotel.
Disliked: Nothing really. Great hotel, great staff. Well done Civilian - don’t change!!
