All in all it was...
Liked: It was close to where our festival was being held, and the staff were amazing
Disliked: Paying $500+ per night I thought was pretty steep for what you got. I’ve stayed at some very niche hotels for less then what I paid per night here

Good enough stay
Liked: Room was comfortable and fairly well lit. Bed fairly comfortable. Bathroom slightly small but shower size was large. Only small sea view. Breakfast was pretty basic for the price. Parking provided anD it has electric charging points if needed. Room had jug.
Disliked: Breakfast was not really worth the price.

Great location and impeccably clean...
Liked: The location was great - easy walking distance to good cafes and restaurants. The guy on reception was very helpful.
Disliked: This is not really a hotel - more like a motel without kitchen facilities. The bathroom was impossible for a couple to use. Only one of us could use it at a time because if someone was at the basin, the other could not get past and there was no room to store toiletries alongside the basin. You need to go up stairs to the upstairs rooms - which can be hard with big suitcases.

Good quiet location if you...
Liked: Well located in a quiet location with easy parking. There are cafes and shops locally but not all are open at convenient times.Rooms are clean with good bathrooms (if a little small). We were supposedly ‘upgraded’ but I’m. It convinces the upgrade was better.
Disliked: No lift. We are travelling with 4 large suitcases and therefore offered a ground floor ‘upgrade’ on check in. If that room was an upgrade I’d hate to think how small the original was. I paid for a harbour view room which appears larger and therefore more expensive when booking. The ground floor room allocated on account of our luggage was very small. We particularly did not like the ‘lazy housekeeping’ style of wrapping the duvet up in two large flat sheets rather than taking the 2 extra minutes to put it inside a proper cover. This makes for very uncomfortable sleeping when there’s two of you and consequently neither of us slept well.
