Great location, lovely staff, can...

Liked: Great location, right by everything you needed- very central Lovely staff- was my birthday on arrival, they gave me a card, 2 cans of drink and 2 chocolate bars to share with my partner! Clean rooms
Disliked: Slightly loud at times. No A/C which meant you needed to open the window for cool air- made it louder.Lift was out for first 2 days. No instructions for the safe so couldn’t lock our valuables away!

cityroomz, better than I expected

Liked: great location, easy check in, 10 minute walk from Haymarket train station and only a 5 minute walk from Rose Street. would definitely recommend
Disliked: a bit noisey at night until maybe 1/2pm. mainly from bars below and trams. considering the location it was not too bad

Disliked: The building and rooms are very old and the carpet is not very clean. Maybe dorms might worth the price but I wouldn't say that for double room.

Liked: I liked the location of the property
Disliked: I did not like how we were not notified of the lift being repaired before arrival as we were on the third floor. The staff informed us they knew it was not going to be working. The shower was awful let off a small drip and could only stay in the one position which is hard given the small space there is. There is also no plugs near the bed which isn’t very useful and WiFi not the greatest. Very disappointing as we stayed a few years ago and could not fault it.

Disliked: Elevator was out of order which had we known we would have booked another hotel. Room was cold. Turned thermostat up but it took until we left for it to heat up.
