Liked: Let's be honest, the City Square is run down and I would have dismissed the place as poor if it were not for the unfailing helpfulness and pleasant demeanour of the staff 🙂
Disliked: Oh, I could nitpick but that really would not be the point. Yes, they have three lifts which in any ordinary circumstances would be overkill for a building this size - but only one works... They have a lift, that was good enough for me.

Great location, ok rooms.

Liked: Great location, right in the CBD and easy to access using the free tram service! It is around the corner from Flinders Lane and a stone's throw from Federation Square and the Yarra River.Fairly sizeable room, which made it more comfortable, and functioning A/C, with a kettle provided.
Disliked: Room cleanliness was just ok, it seemed they hadn't fully vacuumed everywhere unfortunately and the carpet is the kind that easily hides stains...

Liked: For the price, u can not beat this. I particularly loved the ancient lift, this place definitely had character
Disliked: Nothing I didn't like. But if ur looking for 5 stars, look elsewhere.

Disliked: very dirty and run down, mould in shower, stains on walls, dusty and dirty carpet horrible bed bordering unusable alot of money for terrible accommodation
