Liked: Area was great, not a long trip into town. Scenery was great and it was quiet.

Liked: Very relaxing country venue close to Fredericksburg. Clean and comfortable. I always enjoy my stay at the City on a Hill!

My time at the cabin...

Liked: It’s was cozy and had everything we needed fishing was great the ponies where adorable coffee on the porch listening to the birds and seeing different animals was a great plus definitely a little escape that was perfect!

We came to hill country...

Very peacefuly and enjoyable stay.

Liked: This is our 5th visit to City on a Hill. We love that it's pet friendly and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again soon.

Relaxing, private, quiet and unique....

Liked: Spacious and clean cabin, with some basic cooking possibilities. Superb jacuzzi, view and location in the rolling hills of the surroundings of Fredericksburg. Staff was quick to respond to my questions and we felt we found ourselves in a piece of paradise. 11/10 would visit again.

Very Relaxing!

Liked: Cabin was just as described and very comfortable. We loved the hot tub on the porch and used it every day. The ponies came by almost every day to see us. The host responded immediately to any questions we had.The only con was the water pressure in the shower. When turned to all hot the pressure was fine but when we tried to use a moderate temp there was very little pressure. Maybe just turn down the temp?
