Liked: Staff did try their best to help us when we wanted to be together and looked up bus timetables for us.
Disliked: I booked 2 rooms months ago and was shocked to find we were not next to each other, in fact we were on different floors. This was not a last minute booking. The 2 rooms should have been allocated together.Also, we were there for the Coldplay concert, I was surprised how uninformed reception staff were about busses etc. This is just basic customer care.

Disliked: Small room, with a unusual smell. Room 602

Liked: Location- easy walk to Britomart
Disliked: Noise from the street woke us early but to be expected in central auckland

Budget accomodation at a good...

Liked: Was a short walk to the CBD. Was reasonably priced. Room was clean.
Disliked: Very small room but ok for one night. Bunk beds didn’t seem very stable. Provide coffee but a small amount of milk would have been appreciated. They take $140 out of your credit card which I didn’t like but then credit it back on check-out. It could have been made more obvious that we all needed photo ID at check -in. Made for a very stressful check-in when I thought we were going to be not allowed in.
