Had a great pre-Christmas visit...

Liked: City Hotel was better than expected! The room was comfy enough, had a small fridge in it, actually the room didn't miss anything! The breakfast was really good and complete, the staff was fabulous, they went out of their way to accommodate any special requests like we had to leave early and they opened the dining area earlier for us, they stowed something in their freezer for us as well and were generally very service minded and pleasant. Location is very central but next to the church, bring some earplugs if bells bother you. would definitely book again!
Disliked: There was nothing that I did not like. It was a bit noisy because its right next to the nightlife and we stayed Friday & Saturday nights but that would be the only negative point. But I usually stay in a city center for the convenience and am used to it and travel with earplugs. My partner slept right through and was not disturbed....

Disliked: I would have liked a bigger room although to be fair, there was a lot going on in town and they were full
