Gorgeous hideaway from the hustle...

Liked: Excellent third spaces provided outside of the hotel room. Location is great for bar hopping and midway between Broadway, Brooklyn and the High Line.
Disliked: Wait inside the hotel lobby for your taxi to avoid unwanted interactions with the locals

Liked: I hated checking myself in. I expect a 4 star hotel to have a full service check in. Not for me. Staff very helpful with check in as my computer crashed and they then needed to step in taking 25 mins to check in. When you have got off a 10 hour flight. 2 hour taxi. You just want to get to your room without messing around checking yourself in. Room is a complete joke. So small that you can only enter your bed from one side. You can’t get to the toilet without having to walk into shower first then close door and walk through. Hairs found in sink and shower. Having to request housekeeping is a joke. Just clean my room. It’s a treat to have it done and after a long day to have a lovely bed to get into. Wardrobe can’t have doors as hangers stick out. Breakfast was awful. Again. Serve yourself. Buffet food was horrible. Then they want us to clear the tables and clean up. I felt like you should pay me to stay! Checked out a day early and will never return.

Fantastic stay in the Lower...

Liked: Fantastic hotel for a long weekend in NYC, especially for the price comparative to other offerings in the city. Room was very clean, bed was super big and comfortable and hotel was very quiet at night bar some light street noise (but it is NYC after all). Great rooftop bar, staff at reception were very helpful and friendly at all times. They only clean rooms every three days but you can request more frequent cleans so this wasn't an issue. Room is small but this was expected and worked absolutely fine for a couple with one suitcase.
Disliked: Nothing - Great stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
