Woman manager was incompetent. Our 2 minute interaction with her as we were checking out wrecked the memory of our stay. Contact me if you would like to hear more.

Liked: Location and front desk staff were great.
Disliked: Air conditioning wasn’t good - never got cool enough. Room was decent; LED bulb in main room was terrible. Bathroom door loses on hinge so it didn’t close properly without lifting it. The manager that wouldn't allow us to use the pool for a half hour after check out showed bad judgement and it tainted our, otherwise, positive stay.

Good motel that could be...

Liked: Comfortable beds and clean.
Disliked: The lighting is awful. Stark white fluorescent bulbs that are too cool. Only one bedside table and lamp. And there isn't a chest of drawers.These are easy fixes to make for your guests to be more comfortable.

Good to take the train...

Liked: Good sized rooms; okay breakfast; best location for anyone wanting to park at Black Rock to take the commuter train into NYC for the day
Disliked: The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and the ladies at the front desk a bit more welcoming
