Liked: We liked that we could sit outside in a private area & sip wine by the propane fire.
Disliked: Parking

A mixed bag

Liked: It was homely, with a free glass of wine and a snack in the afternoon
Disliked: The room was a bit odd, only 1 bedside table on the narrow side of the bed close to the wall and not one on the side that had more space. No ceiling light, just 2 bed side lights that didn't fill the room with light. No book containing local information e.g. bus timetable to the Sonoma Plaza or restaurant/ wine tasting suggestions for which the area is famous for. Maybe it was just my room.A take it or leave it choice of breakfast.

All in all, we had...

Liked: The location is very good. It is close to restaurants and convenient to vineyards by car.
Disliked: Our room got uncomfortably hot on our first night. Only after searching for the thermostat did I realize that it was located in the shared space outside of our room. We could not close the vents where the heat was pouring into our room. Fortunately, we were the only guest at the time, so we were able to turn the temperature down without creating an uncomfortable situation for another guest at the house. The B&B had no half-and-half. When I asked I was told they were all out. If this was a one-off oversight, I could understand, but there was still no half-and-half the next morning.

A quaint old-style country inn...

Liked: Nicely decorated for the holidays. Friendly staff. Excellent full hot breakfast served personally to our table. Reasonably quiet considering it’s on a busy street corner. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Fuzzy blanket on bed which may or may not be washed between guests. Room was too cool and we couldn’t figure out if there was a heater or just an AC. Couldn’t get regular programming on the Smart TV (only apps). Small room, no dresser or desk to put things on.
