Liked: We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. It has a great location, that allows us to walk to restaurants and downtown. The owners are super nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed the afternoon with wine and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely like to come again

A magical experience.
Liked: Magical atmosphere, extremely kind and welcoming housekeeper (Martha), very hospitable owner (I only met Brian), amazing attention to detail, delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Evening aperitifs and the opportunity to sample the host’s wine in the evening were appreciated and included. The property is walking distance to the river and downtown Napa. Churchill Manor is a beautiful home with warm fireplaces and unique decor. Despite being a period home with antique furnishings, it is spotlessly clean throughout. Bed was very comfortable and bed linens top quality. Although close to downtown, the street was quiet and peaceful at night, no through traffic. It’s also very close to the G bus which connected well to commuter buses to my destination in the East Bay. The host, Brian, generously extended my checkout around my meeting schedule which I really appreciated, and as mentioned the housekeeper Martha was very helpful.

Delightful & straight out of...
Liked: Joanna was simply lovely and we loved hearing her stories. During the happy hour in which all the rooms were provided an appetizer plate and fresh baked cookies, she helped break the ice and we ended up talking to two other guests for hours. Our room was much bigger than we expected and had everything we could possibly want. We had even had our own fireplace, but I enjoyed sitting by the crackling one downstairs as I listened to my friend play one of the two pianos. I also loved that Joanna & Brian reached out prior to our visit with recommendations, discounts, and inquiries to see if we had any special requests. There is also a rotating breakfast menu - ours was filling and delicious. Brian sat and chatted with each guest. He remembered and brought up our interests. Both hosts were thoughtful and it was clear they put a lot of love into the work they do.

Liked: Absolutely perfect condition historic mansion. We were served a very good breakfast each day and there were always cookies, on a little plate, to take back to your room. Red and White wine were open in the late afternoon paired with a nice cheese, cracker, fig, salmon appetizer. We really enjoyed our stay and conversations with the innkeepers.
