This motel exceeded my expectations...

Liked: Great quiet location. Easy access to check in. Fantastic helpful staff. Able to use washing machine and dryer. Spacious apartment and exceptionally clean. Bed so comfortable. Shops handy.

Liked: The size of the motel and the comfort. Everything needed was available and we rated our motel as the best we had ever experienced.

Relaxing and very comfortable stay.

Liked: Very quiet, no traffic noise. Beautiful outdoor area to relax in and safe for children as parking was away from units.
Disliked: Minor things that we could have done with in the units , pen and pad of paper, fly spray and pair of scissors.

Lovely peaceful and comfortable stay.

Liked: Space and homely feel. We stayed three nights and it’s lovely coming back to a quiet and spacious place after a busy day exploring Christchurch and surrounds. You can sit out of your unit and listen to the bird song and not the rush of care. It was easy to navigate to a main shopping centre and there were some great restaurants there. Couches were comfortable. Self checkin was very easy. We had a problem with the remote not working and left a message on managements phone and they came and fixed it within 15 minutes.
Disliked: Nothing. We would book here again.

Lovely Setting but Noisy

Liked: The gardens were lovely, it was a really beautiful setting. The unit itself was spacious, very comfortable sofas and bed, with a lovely deep bath and shower over it. There was clear communication from the staff on how to access the motel and the unit.
Disliked: We didn't see any staff, it's 'remotely managed' so there are no staff on-site overnight, just a number to call. If there had been staff they might have dealt with guests in neighbouring unit number 2 who woke us up both nights we stayed, loud chattering outside on and off until 2.30 a.m. The cleaning could be improved, the basin water wasn't draining due to part of a wrapper and a wad of hair under the pop-up plug, and there were lolly wrappers under the bed.A grab rail by the bath might be helpful for guests getting into the shower as it's over a deep bath that you need to step into.
