Quite, clean and a wonderful...

Liked: The room was exceptional! Quiet, clean and had a beautiful view. We had dinner at the white buffalo restaurant, it was good and reasonable on price. We did enjoyed the free breakfast, it took a little too long to get but it was delicious. We will be returning.

Disliked: The deck wasn’t clean, there was a dead bird, there was spiders, a booger in the shampoo, all in all felt like in wasn’t cleaned before the stay

Top quality resort with nicely...

Liked: The Chipeta Inn was my favorite hotel on our 24 day tip through the rockies. Our room was a suite so we entered through a small well designed bedroom into a very large master bedroom. It had a sofa, comfortable chairs, a private deck and a balcony. Our room was made of adobe, had interesting round "corners" smoothed by adobe with artistic inserts-some with stained glass. If you like originally designed rooms you will love the Chipeta. It is a resort so they have their own restaurant which featured a very good guitar player the night we were there. There is a dog park across the street with open views to the mountains. The manager and receptionist carried our luggage up to our rooms when we headed off to dinner.
Disliked: My wife has difficulty walking and you have to go up and down stairs a lot as you move around the resort. We barely made it up three flights of stairs for dinner and breakfast, but we were glad when we got there.

I'll chose a different hotel...

Liked: The staff was pleasant.
Disliked: The room had no table space for a computer or to eat. I could fit one suitcase but it had to be in front of the fireplace. The balcony spa had no step or hand holds to get in. My wife couldn't use it.

Liked: The Adobe styled lodge was very clean with a very nice pool, restaurant and bar. Stay included a free continental breakfast. Room was large and recently remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. Also, room had a large covered patio where we had a nightcap and viewed the bright stars. Thanks Madison and Casandra for your help during my stay. There are a few other restaurants a short walk away. Close to Ouray. Would stay again.
