Liked: We booked here as everything in the town was full, however it was a beautiful surprise, the grounds are beautiful and view from the property is amazing and the room is nicely set up. They include a basic breakfast and afternoon tea. It is kind of secluded from the town if you are looking for a get away, however you have to drive everywhere as they don’t have a restaurant, so the location can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for.
Disliked: The room was dusty and the spa was dirty, it didn’t affect us but for a high-end place as Chimes tries to be, they need more attention to detail regarding cleaning. They didn’t let us know in advance that there is not food available for dinner and we had to drive to the town, again, the location can be bad if you aren’t prepared.

Disliked: Breakfast which was included was really average jam in mini plastic cup not great due to the standard of the room (great comfort) and due to the high price!Getting eggs on toast requires a 20$ extra per person…really poor and obviously changed my mind when rating this hotel.

Disappointing and overpriced.

Liked: Big bath, nice products.
Disliked: Stains on the chair, leaking air conditioner, didn’t replace the towels on the second day, balcony was filthy. For what we paid per night (over $400) it was like a small hotel room in the city you would pay half the price.
