Superb
Liked: This hotel is an ideal location with all major sights within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean and had an excellent layout. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was also very good.
Disliked: It's a bit dark when entering the room and hence a little difficult to activate the electricity with the room key because the keyholder is a bit tricky to find. It is light up but it's a very weak light.

Excellent choice of hotel
Liked: The hotel had some quirky touches and the staff were all extremely friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good giving all the options you could possibly want. There was also complimentary coffee and cake every afternoon. We were given a welcome glass of port and the hotel also surprised us by sending cake to our room.
Disliked: There really wasn’t anything that we didn’t like but I suppose the restaurant menu was a bit limited. The food we did have was very good though.

Excellent location, comfortable facilities, friendly...
Liked: Excellent location in the historic part of Porto. Lovely staff and friendly vibe in the hotel. Really good breakfast buffet. Excellent coffee machine with Nespresso pods provided in the room and a kettle was available on request. Tea bags and herbal infusions (camomile, mint etc) were also available on request from the bar. The hotel restaurant was also very good - but there are many good cafes, bars and restaurants nearby which are all worth exploring. Our room overlooked a quirky garden area where the theme of Gravity was on display with a vertical pool and plants and furniture in the air! It definitely means this hotel doesn't fit into the usual bland boring decor category! Whilst it wasn't huge, the room was a decent size for a city centre hotel. Very comfortable, large bed and good pillows. Lovely, properly thick and fluffy towels. Cute little balcony. All of the staff are very friendly, polite, helpful and speak several languages. There's a lovely young and fresh energy about the hotel and its quirky decor.
Disliked: Just a matter of personal taste really, but I wasn't keen on the bathroom situation with frosted glass walls for the separate loo and shower, and the sink area being completely open - I prefer a little more bathroom privacy. But, for a short stay it was fine.

Very good
Liked: very nice room, good size, comfortable bed, clean and quiet, the bathroom was unique and well designed, super large shower
Disliked: the room was overlooking the wall of the next building (zero view), the decor of the room is a little bit dark, the service during the breakfast super slow, we needed to wait for food to be re-filled
