Great stay

Liked: Everythign was great, from check in to check out.
Disliked: everything was great, staff were super friendly and we enjoyed the experience

Would have been much more...

Liked: Lovely old property, clean and welcoming staff on reception.
Disliked: Unfortunately the 4 of us were disturbed during the night by other residents. (We were only staying for one night). We had rooms 2 and 3 by the stairs. A group of people chose to sit below the stairs and chat & laugh continually and loudly. We all were trying to get a good nights sleep after a long drive down (in appalling driving conditions, especially on the M1 - and a family birthday celebration). They kept us all awake from 11pm until 1.00am. My daughter (in the other room) rang reception at 1.00 am and asked if they could be asked either to move or keep quiet.May I suggest - what we all thought - that the sitting area there (because bedrooms are just above) should be designated as a quiet zone?Especially as there are plenty of other sitting areas away from sleeping guests. Thank you.

Reliable good hotel.

Liked: We frequently stay at Chesford as it is a very good hotel. Wonderful staff, spacious comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast spread, attractive location good parking.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about.

Providing everything I need pretty...

Liked: Everything from check in to check out. The staff at breakfast on both days really friendly and helpful. I had dinner in the restaurant on the second night, 20th November, and the staff were exceptional, polite but friendly and really smiley.
Disliked: Nothing
