Good staff, good food and...

Liked: Good service with the hotel phoning me to check if a dinner reservation was required. Easy check in, comfortable bed and good facilities. Food was excellent with a very good breakfast buffet.
Disliked: Nothing, no bad points or isssues worth mentioning.

Liked: Everything worked well, the place was clean and all the staff were friendly. Kids loved the buffet breakfast. The hotel was set up for families but also seemed to deliver a great ambience for all kinds of groups.

Liked: Rooms clean, reception smiled. Narbert and bar person helpful
Disliked: Pillows, no dog hamper, dog bed, dog blankets, dog spaces in restaurant. Bath was too high, being treated like a 3rd class guest because I had a dog. Treated disrespectfully by breakfast manager. No water for dog.

Nice hotel and staff, let...

Liked: Staff were excellent, room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Food was not great. We ate in the bar and ordered loaded nachos to snack on. There were very few nachos on the plate and the 'loading' was minimal. We complained and the staff handled it very well, agreeing that the dish was overpriced. We swapped it for the cauliflower which was much nicer and there was plenty of it.For mains we ordered lamb pie (very nice but none too hot) and a pizza without cheese and well done. It came without cheese but was under cooked rather than well done. We discussed it with the duty manager who accepted our criticism.We stayed with you last year and recalled that the food wasn't brilliant then. I doubt that we will stay with you when attending next year's event.
