Lovely but disappointed in the...
Liked: Location and staff
Disliked: Four of the five restaurants were closed. The only one open you couldn’t reserve a table and people not staying there came in for drinks and food which meant residents couldn’t get a table. They should allow residents to reserve a table.

Great location but too crowded
Liked: great location and super nice beach club
Disliked: overused- it was impossible to make reservation for a dinner in any of 3 restaurants. The hotel has wedding parties in the summer which means that there is at least one restaurant not available plus people from outside can come. This means that it feels overcrowded for the hotel guests as 3 times the people are using the facilities. I stayed in the hotel before and it was not as crowded, it felt more exclusive in the past.

Would not ever return
Liked: The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the views are great.
Disliked: Considering this hotel costs over $600 a night, is a 5 star hotel, and is rated by Forbes, it was incredibly underwhelming. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels, and I have never slept in a bed so uncomfortable. The mattress was lumpy and it caved in due to overuse. I wouldn't consider myself old, but my back ached both mornings I woke up in this hotel. Seeing how much they charge, they really should invest in new mattresses. Secondly, at check-in, the concierge told me that we have a "property view room." I had no expectations of what this meant because I didn't even remember what kind of room I booked. But since the concierge told me this, I went upstairs and opened the blinds to see the view. I literally laughed out loud because the "view" was the roof of part of the hotel and the rooftop HVAC units. The concierge just should not have said anything at all because this is laughable to be considered a "property view room."
