Disliked: We had an awful encounter with a very rude member of staff when we checked in. The next morning the manager was appalled and was great to deal with.Bar and restaurant were closed and room service finished at 9pm

Liked: Well managed, properly renovated, careful attention to detail. Excellent restaurant, in fact it’s the reason we stay.
Disliked: As locals we come for a mini getaway, however unfortunate checkin/out times. Checkin 4PM, out by 11AM. In my experience that’s an unfair hit from both ends; a 4PM checkin usually signals a 12PM checkout. We would have spent extra $ for room service breakfast but simply didn’t have the time. Yes we were lazy sleeping in but that should be what it’s all about, esp after a $5xx dinner - a wedding anniversary evening. We requested a late checkout that morning and accepted their offer: 11:30AM. Close but no cigar. We subsequently enjoyed our Egg McMuffins at the drivethough in Vaudreuil.

Liked: Unfortunately I was only there overnight. I’d like to go back for a longer stay to appreciate the property more. Very unique European style property
