Live like you are in...
Liked: Gorgeous property, the details and care they took in restoring is incredible, such a unique and comfortable stay, felt like living in a mansion. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is quiet, safe, close to public transit, and in such a beautiful community
Disliked: The beds were a little short..but to be expected for antique furniture

Very good
Liked: The house is stunning and beautifully decorated. The rooms are unique, cozy and peaceful to rest in. The staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty!
Disliked: We had a room upstairs that shared a quaint historic bathroom. I thought it was sweet however, the tub/shower was difficult for my partner to wash in as he is taller than me.

Historic elegance!
Liked: The ambiance, elegance, history, & decor was like stepping back in time or staying in a museum with the comforts of home (shared kitchen & bathroom access). We were greeted well with a glass of wine & service was wonderful. Clean & serene... a birthday dream! (Another couple had a family there for a wedding... a fabulous location for photos!) The custom-made breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. The location was secure and in walking distance of the painted ladies & if you're feeling adventurous ~ you could keep going on to Haight-Ashbury.
Disliked: Top floor rooms are with stair access only so you have to be fit & well to make it up (as it is an old Victorian home so we knew that upon making the reservations but an injury just prior to arrival made it a bit more challenging!) Room temp was not easily controlled... heat was on upon arrival so the room was sweltering & windows had to be opened with a tiny fan to air out the room. Had to leave windows up so there was noise from the busy street all night. Firm bed was a bit uncomfortable for side-sleepers.
