Thoroughly enjoyed.

Liked: The people we met (other guests and proprietors) were lovely people. The location wonderful. The breakfast excellent! Bed great!!!

Comfortable 1 night stay before...

Liked: Good spot to stay at if you have an early flight. Off street parking was great, clean and tidy room. Only 10mins from the airport.
Disliked: Planes do fly over the property, something to be mindful of if you are a light sleeper

Great host, building and location...

Liked: Joan the host is super friendly and helpful, the building and room was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and just as described, and the Winthrop area is a lovely picturesque neighbourhood with plenty of places nearby to eat, drink and explore but still a short and quick distance to the airport and Boston. Being near the beach and plenty of walks is lovely! Near perfect spot really :)
Disliked: Do NOT let this put you off, as we will 100% stay here again when we visit Boston... but there was a bit of noise from the nearby airport, so would recommend earplugs if you're used to silence when sleeping, and a cooked breakfast option would have been great, but not essential - but again earplugs for us sorted noise and the continual breakfast we were provided was still lovely!

Disappointed - constant jet traffic...

Liked: Rooms were clean
Disliked: Ceiling fans had pull chains that you’d need a ladder to reach - I was never offered any food because I was leaving for work before they served breakfast 8:30 -10:00 - nothing - not fruit - nothing at all

Take ear plugs!

Liked: The host was pleasant and helpful. The room was nice but dated. We enjoyed the breakfast.
Disliked: It is convenient for the airport, but it isn't sound proofed so we found it difficult to sleep with near constant plane take off and landings

An unusual guest house of...

Liked: The host made us feeling so welcomed all throughout our stay. As a former architectural technician, I was so interested in New England domestic architecture evident around this b & b guest house which is itself a place of architectural heritage. There is a Winthorp town centre with few restaurants (the Mexican is a WOW!) you can walk to about 15 mins.There are bus services to and from to the nearest rail station for Boston. A nice place to relax after a busy day exploring historic Boston.

Liked: Location, lovely neighborhood, close to airport. Hostess, when we met her was very nice. Gave good restaurant recommendation
Disliked: You let yourself in and find your room. No one to welcome you when you arrive. Room was tiny and with Ltd mobility, hard to navigate. Breakfast was cold, including meat offerings
