Very good

Liked: The location and the history behind it is amazing (even though I would have expected the hotel management to have done more to engage the guests into what to do around). Both restaurants are superb! Would be interested to stay in the main building), it was in renivatiin at the time of our stay).
Disliked: The room (two bedroom suite) where we stayed, while huge, would benefit from some maintenance - it was visible it aged and this didn't help to feel cosy. There was no "lobby-like" area where you can stay and relax. The breakfast was quite average (same options every day, quite basic ones, no real espresso and freshly squeezed orange juice) - would have expected more of a R&C member and considering the quality of the restaurants for dinner.

Nice hotel with a whole...

Liked: The surroundings were beautiful, super peaceful and serene with a lot of greenery and animals like horses and bunnies ect.the restaurant served really good quality food made from their own grounds and the staff was very accommodating.
Disliked: The rooms are a bit dated, a lot of vintage furniture and that could have its charm but our room was not it, super old stained carpets and closets were a bit too vintage ect.

Good food but pricey. Good...

Liked: The grounds of the hotel and convenient for both Maastricht and Valkenberg. Enjoyed the spa facilities
Disliked: The fact that the info on the room coffee machine can only be accessed by the QR code! If turned out that our coffee machine was faulty. Also a cream sachet had been partly opened and was rank. These two items should have been thoroughly checked before new guests arrived. We found the shade in the standard lamp gave little extra light.

Good excellent food both evening...

Liked: The location and the walk nearby. Easy for visiting Maastricht and Valkenberg
Disliked: Our coffee machine did not work. One has to scan the QR code for instructions. It only dispensed hot water and finally it was changed. Also there was a half opened cream that had to be chucked away. We think these things should be checked before the arrival of new guests considering the status of the hotel. We also found the lighting in the bedroom on the low side.

Beautiful, relaxing place to stay

Liked: Very clean room, great atmosphere, great dinner, beautiful surroundings and buildings, great breakfast, kind staff.
Disliked: Very expensive place. I ordered flowers for in the room + rose leaves; they were delivered late, after we already checked in and had entered the room. We were allowed into the room 1 hr earlier, which was great, but I would expect the flowers and leaves to be there already. The location for the breakfast was not that nice in terms of styling / surroundings.

Liked: the place is amazing for those who love art and nature, sculptures everywhere, parc is beautiful, rooms super charming
