Dates but comfortable

Liked: Very comfortable bed. Reception was able to accommodate our cardboard bicycle boxes in their storage room during our stay.Breakfast buffet is nice and had good gluten-free options
Disliked: Having to pay extra for coffee made by the barista at breakfast buffet - this was not what we expected at a "Qualmark Silver, 4 Star rated property". Perhaps we timed it wrong but we were invariably having breakfast amongst a noisy tour group speaking in a different language which eroded the dining experience.Dated hotel.Gym is very small so you very quickly get into other gym users' personal space.It would be a nice touch if there was a healthier gluten-free option to the complimentary sugar-loaded cookie offered upon arrival

Liked: Atmosphere is fantastic. Surrounded by lush plants and greenery that gave the entire space a peaceful and refreshing feel.

Overall,the stay was very good....

Liked: Breakfast wasn’t warm enough and plates should have been warmed first. Also needed another chair in our room. Only one chair and 2 people.
Disliked: Only had one towel in the bathroom and should have been 2 for 2 people.

We have stayed many times...

Liked: Bed was decorated with swans and rose petals as it was our anniversary, this was unexpected but much appreciated.
Disliked: A better view of the gardens would have been nice
