Liked: Nothing apart from that we were allowed to park our car. right in at hotel as neither of us were able to climb the stairs.
Disliked: The "superior" room was old needing completely gutted. Very oppressive. Housekeeping was poor. After the room had been cleaned and bed made there was still the indent on the pillow where my head had layed. Toiletries not replaced regularly, neither were the tea and coffee facilities. Carpet not regularly vacumned and bathroom left a lot to be desired. Very awkward to get into shower especially as we are an older couple a fact the hotel had been made aware of. We had to climb two steps to get into the jacuzzi bath in order to get to shower and then lean Bach to use the shower. They had also been told that we were there to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. We were not offended a drink on arrival nor given a glass of wine or champagne as a courtesy. The manager never stepped out of his office to greet us even the office doo was often open. Whilst paying the bill I made all these things known to reception and asked to be contacted by manager. One later and there has been no contact. My husband wanted to leave the hotel and move elsewhere he was so disappointed. I felt really let down . One can't have an 80th birthday twice!!

A haven of tranquility.

Liked: Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the fine dining in both restaurants. Good bus connection to St. Helier.
