The 3,500-acre property features three types of accommodations: an inn, spa suites, and golf villas, as well as four golf courses, eight restaurants, a European-style health spa, wine market, equestrian show center and tennis center. Guests are invited to tour the winery and rent bikes to explore the estate's private roads or off-the-beaten-path trails through canopied forests of trees, quiet nature trails, and vineyards. Tucked within the sweeping panorama of the North Georgia foothills, Chateau Elan is located a little less than an hour drive from both Atlanta and Athens, GA.

Great short getaway

Liked: The environment and the vibe was really good.
Disliked: The restaurant was overpriced and we had to wait 15 minutes after having reservations.

This is a beautiful, romantic...

Liked: Fleur di lis was an excellent brunch location. The service was great and the food was very good!. The many vegan options made my wife happy
Disliked: Too many teenagers during prom season. With the exclusive price I had hoped there wouldn't be any loud residents near me. There were teenages in the adjacent room who made it difficult to fall asleep.

They stay was very nice....

Liked: The property was so nice. Quiet laid back place. The winery tour was very nice. I enjoyed my Birthday at the resort
Disliked: We paid a lot of money for rooms only not to be accommodated with nothing. At least we should have got something other than a complimentary wine tour. Which me and my group had already purchase wine tasting tickets for $61
