Liked: The building was unique and in a convenient location, walking distance to town
Disliked: The carpet going up the stairs is stained. This is visible as you walk in the front door, so first impressions are lasting. Seems like a little spot cleaning could fix this or is the staff oblivious. Also, there was one hot buffet breakfast item available, but not enough for the amount of people staying there. If you want to have the warm breakfast option you need to be there at the beginning of the breakfast time frame as they do not replenish. Of course there was non-hot food also available and plenty of coffee, but the second morning we didn’t bother with the breakfast.Steps going up to our room on the third floor were unusually narrow and of varying heights, so not appropriate to stay on the third floor if you are unable to navigate this. Floors were squeaky and possibly bothering those below if you need to get up in the middle of the night.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was nice and the staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: My deluxe room with a private entrance was an attic room with slanted ceilings. Very difficult to move without bumping your head. The only way to watch TV was to lay down on your side in the bed due to the ceiling. Stairs up were super steep. My private entrance was a door to the room. Felt the description of the room was very misleading. Will not be returning.
