Liked: Beautifully presented hotel and grounds - decor was really tastfully done and in keeping with the quality of the building, the rooms were really nice and the restaurant was excellent standard
Disliked: the staff didn't build the open fire correctly in one of the lounges and as a result the whole hotel stank of smoke, especially our room which was above the lounge in which the fire was lit - our clothes and the room stank as a result. We were unable to use the lounge as the smoke was so thick and my wife struggled to sleep in our room due to the over powering smell of smoke.

Liked: Stunning location, lovely swimming pool. Great selection for breakfast and very good quality food. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Disliked: Not very much soundproofing between rooms. We could hear next door quite clearly.

Liked: Ian was fantastic as were the other staff, the pool was sensational. The food was excellent! Fantastic cocktails as well. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Very enjoyable.

Liked: Friendly service, comfortable rooms with a great view, excellent breakfast. The letter to our dog and the mat / bowls were a nice touch.
Disliked: Drinks service seemed a bit slow at times, but to be fair, that didn't worry us much.
