Cheap and not a cheerful...

Liked: Breakfast was very good, plenty hot water in bathroom, and easy location to get to city centre. Most staff were friendly.
Disliked: This hotel room was 'tired' looking, a bit grubby here and there. Our bathroom door kept sticking on the first night and we couldn't get out of the bathroom. We needed to find someone after 1 am, as we couldn't get into the bathroom. Very frustrating. On Saturday evening a member of staff was eating his evening meal in reception ! Which I didnt think was very appealing to guests or the public. I asked for a quiet room, But didnt realise the room would be on the third floor. No lifts. We both have asthma.

Liked: Really like it here if you can get the room on a discount it's great value. Will definitely stay again.

Really poor and complete rip...

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Extremely poor state of repair. A complete rip off in price. The room was damp, had peeling wallpaper with worn carpet and scuffed and damaged walls. Room was very cold with no way to control temp except w small electric heater with broken feet.

Fine for the price and...

Disliked: Towels and sheets not quite clean. Plug sockets decidedly dodgy.

Liked: It was good value for money, especially with Breakfast included in the price of the room. The cooked breakfast was great.
Disliked: There was no fresh fruit available at breakfast, which was apparently down to a delivery issue. In addition there was also a limited choice of pastries available.
