Superb

Great location, staff & food......

Liked: Location and price was the reason for the stay, staff were very friendly and helpful.Bed was sooo comfy maybe to comfy I could of stayed in it forever.
Disliked: Couple of things mould in bathroom ceiling quite a bit of it and when I was running a bath I closed the door as it was really loud and it somehow locked it self from the outside, it could of been a really bad situation that thankfully my husband managed to fix but that door needs looking at.

Liked: Excellent and personable staff and one staff member carried one of our suitcases up multiple flights of stairs when we arrived in the late evening (Dan). Bin was changed every day and provided with fresh linen. Great location, easy walk into some nice areas. Lively bar and tasty breakfast. Amazing shower and bathroom. Roomy and comfy bed!
Disliked: We had noisy neighbours that woke us up in the morning so walls were just thin enough. Also we didn't have updated prices for breakfast menus so we got a bit of a shock when it was 3 quid more expensive.

Needs some serious attention. Damp...

Liked: Fantastic location and charming, thoughtful staff. Bar located on ground floor is bright and spacious. Reception staff (big up Megan! Patient, polite and super good sorting out a booking issue) great,
Disliked: However...room was clean but needs some serious attention. I had to heat up 4 sequent kettles of water to have a tepid bath. Same issue with the shower. Partner couldn't have a shower. Side of bath was cracked. It took over 10 minutes for the bath to drain (this is when I had waited to have a hot bath and it was cold/tepid). Oddly, I had to use tweezers to see what was blocking the plug and found a pair of small tweezers caught in the plug hole. Fortunately we live in Bristol but if we didn't this would be more awful. We picked the location to stay as a treat and ended up disappointed.Room 30 or 31 needs some serious attention. Damp leaking across the wall, particularly the bathroom. Plumbing awful. No hot water, shoddy fittings. Not given any attention to match the price they charge.

Liked: The Bed and location for what we needed
Disliked: Waiting a long time to check in not enough staff available dirty room tired furniture and in need of full decoration iron had wires showing whilst saying it had been PAT tested
