Liked: Clean, location, in the middle of renovations but love the quirky feel.
Disliked: Was hard to get staff at certain times

Great Motel!

Liked: It has a nice retro vintage feel, which I liked. The room was spacious and comfy, with fresh linens and updated art and accessories.
Disliked: The bathroom was a bit outdated, but functional. I understand they are in the process of updating the motel, which is very exciting. For the price it was still excellent value.

Liked: Did not have breakfast!
Disliked: There should have been a sign outside with the name Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn. We could not find it and were told they are doing renovatiions so it was removed....We could not access the address at that time I forget why now.

Passable

Disliked: The kitchen had no teaspoon to make coffee. There was no information about Cessnock/Hunter Valley No wifi code

Liked: The staff were great - welcoming, informative and helpful. The bed was great - some motel beds are like a marble slab - this one was firm but very comfortable. The shower was excellent.
