Friendly staff & good location

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially in sorting out the room as we booked a twin but was originally placed in a double. It was sorted efficiently. The only downside was the cleanliness. We had cobwebs in corners of the room, and the carpet and skirting behind the beside tables looked very dusty. The bathroom was clean and tidy just not very well laid out, the positioning of the sink and shower made standing in front of the sink impossible, and I am not of a particularly large build.

Liked: Location is good, walking distance to stations and cbd. Check in was quick and simple (although no reception per se, just go to bar, and that wasn't very clear). Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Room was small and no view as at back of building. When you open the curtain there is no privacy - people walking down the corridor opposite the room can see in. Makes more sense to have a sheer curtain and blockout blind then one heavy curtain. Bathroom was small but clean. Only 3 hooks to hang clothing so have to keep most stuff in your luggage. Biggest issue for me is the door literally opens onto the bed (maybe 3 steps from door to bed) and as a single female traveller it didn't feel that safe.

Liked: Excellent place to stay in Sydney CBD! The room is small but comfortable and well-furnished. You're paying for the location - and the location is great: walkable to most things and easily connected to public transit. Would stay there again.
