It might be cheap but...

Liked: It was in a good location to shopping and food outlets
Disliked: It didn’t feel clean. The coffee table top was broken, multiple chairs at the dining table were breaking and cupboard doors in the kitchen were falling off. Cigarette burns were alwo on the curtains in one of the rooms and the couch moved and looked like it might break when more than one person sits on it…in a room for 4 people and only space for 3 to sit this was not okay.

Liked: The location was good. The late check-in was ok.
Disliked: Drug used knives in room, these were put in the plant boxes outside the window. Stains everywhere. Uncomfortable lounge and bed. Most of the items that were advertised as available were not. Those that were in the room were unusable due to dust, dirt or damage. The rubbish was removed from our room every day but our washing up liquid was never topped up. We stayed 8 nights and not one sheet change and the towels were refreshed only the night before check out . You sat on the lounge and it collapsed internally. Went to utilise the mattress inside as it was a sofa bed to help with the comfort and the stains on that mattress was disgraceful. Dirt and rubbish behind the TV stand and lounge. No bedside tables on one side of the bed. Water and major dampness on the carpet by the main bed and in the lounge after heavy rain. No one in the reception at whenever we went to see anyone. Guest laundry only open between 2-8 and again no one available to pay them to use the machines. Definitely not sound proof rooms, the lack of privacy of conversations speaking in general tones shows the walls are paper thin. No details about Christchurch or room amenities in the room. No basic compendium. Not even a QR code for this detail. On check out we had to leave the key on the office door handle because there was no early checkout drop box.
