Overall good value for money

Liked: Very close to the amenities and shops.The bed was nice.The wash basin in room is a good idea.Staff was good.
Disliked: The shower knob kept coming off.It was a hot day, and the air cooler wasn't good enough to keep the room cool. Was sweating the whole night.

OK for a short stay...

Disliked: This is basic pub accommodation & you get what you pay for. The room itself is a reasonable size but the bathroom’s so small there’s no room for a sink so that’s in the bedroom. However it was clean, had a comfortable bed and tea/coffee etc in the room and ok for a one night stay. The added convenience was the restaurant downstairs, Cole’s supermarket across the road and being close to town.

Adequate accommodation with good food

Liked: The young receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant on sites was good value.
Disliked: The lock on my room was unusual and when I was in the shower someone opened the door that I thought was locked. Fortunately he/she left without taking anything. I informed the manager by text message without follow-up......

All good except loud pipes...

Liked: Great location and nice big rooms.
Disliked: Every time you turned on the water the pipes sounded like they might explode..
