Not worth the money

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Everything else. The room I was given was not cleaned prior to my arrival. Furthermore I got stuck in their elevator and the water heater for my room was non functional.

I just don't recommend this...

Liked: The location was excellent.
Disliked: I don't even know where to start. First, there's no proper heating in the room. What they have is an air conditioner that supposedly works as a heater if you increase the temperature. However, this causes the walls to "sweat," with condensation dripping onto the floor, which is both disgusting and dangerous.Additionally, this "alternative" heating system takes forever to warm up the room, which is very small, by the way. If you're planning to visit during winter, as I did, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.Still on the topic of winter, hot water is only available early in the morning. We only found this out when we arrived in the evening and tried to take a warm shower—it was freezing cold. To make matters worse, the room was still cold because the heating system takes ages to work.If we had known beforehand that hot water was practically unavailable, we wouldn't have booked a room here.Lastly, the bathroom leaves much to be desired. There is little to no separation between the toilet and the shower, and the sliding door does not close properly. It’s also worth mentioning that there are no photos of the bathroom on Booking.com, which now seems like a deliberate omission.

Good price -terrible customer service!

Liked: Breakfast was good value for the price. Dinner seemed reasonable but we chose to eat out.
Disliked: Entrance to the hotel was not clearly communicated by the vendors. We had to call the front desk to figure out access around the corner. The bathroom door was broken so we couldn't close it properly (kept swinging open)- reported it and not attended to during our stay. The parking voucher was VERY poorly dealt with!! We pre-paid and on using our voucher to exit the parking garage it was NOT accepted. We contacted the desk at the hotel and despite being told someone would come down to the garage to help us, no-one arrived despite several calls. When we called back for further help, the desk clerk HUNG UP ON US!! We requested a refund on our prepaid parking costs and a call back to confirm a refund, which we NEVER received! Thankfully MC finally refunded us when we pursued it on OUR OWN. Due to being trapped in the parking garage for over an hour we missed out on a pre-paid event at our next destination. This venue is a reasonable price for Toulon, but VERY bad customer service. As we were visiting from Canada, and leaving for home a few days later, we had no opportunity to make up for our ruined itinerary.

Nice staff, clean room and...

Liked: Lovely staff member waited up for me when I arrived at midnight.
Disliked: Window didn't close in bathroom so noise and mozzies could get in. No duvet or cover on bed, just sheets. Also quite thin walls/ceilings so I was woken up at 2am by another guest loudly trying to put up his sofa bed in the room above me. Or perhaps doing DIY, whatever it was it was unbelievably loud.

Disliked: Noise insulation, absence of shower drainage. Rooms doesn’t insulate noise.
