Passable
Liked: Proximity to the lake was good. Quiet and no traffic noise.
Disliked: This place does not match the photos on Booking.com at all. It is very run down and clearly has not had any love at all over the last few years. There was no smoke alarm in our room. The playground had broken swings and the trampoline looked unsafe for children. The spa and pool area was unkempt and had old dirty plasters next to it. The shower in our room was tiny and weird. The towels were tatty and worn with bleach marks on them. Overall the whole place was run down and needs a lot of work to bring it up to the standard shown in the photos. I had a future reservation which I cancelled after seeing the standard here.

Photos are from the prime...
Liked: Fantastic location with a stunning outlook to the lake and a jetty to walk out on right in front of the units. It is a bit out of town (but not inconvenient) so if you don't have your own car it will cost you more to get around.Free wifi and reasonable sized cabins.
Disliked: We started our visit with an incredibly unwelcoming receptionist which unfortunately was a sign of things to come. The couches were leather and had *large* patches of peel which was revolting. A rug covered patches of burn (?) and removed carpet from whatever the incident was. In the small kitchen we found the fridge wasn't turned on before we arrived which was frustrating as we had goods to keep cool and the rangehood wasn't plugged in which was a last minute struggle to find the cord and plug after I had started cooking. There was black mold in the shower, and the cabinetry was peeling. The grounds were very overgrown and unkempt. The pool was very dirty and although the spa looked clean, due to the state of the pool we didn't trust it. Such a shame as one of the reasons we had specifically booked here because of the pool and spa and couldn't use them. The playground on the photos looked amazing however it definitely was not. Only one trampoline remained and the enclosure net had fallen in and was half covering the tramp, and there was no ladder to get up to it. The playground was also hugely overgrown. Such a massive hazard and incredibly disappointing.
