Colonial Williamsburg Charmer
Liked: What did we like? Everything. My husband and I have been to Colonial Williamsburg on a few occasions, staying in historical buildings, hotels, inns. Cedars is now our favorite because of its features; charming building with historical touches, friendly and knowledgeable host, and a very good breakfast. All of this - great location, well-appointed room, comfortable bed, strong wifi, soaring fireplace (we were there in January) -- for one of the best prices in the area.We will be back

Overall good stay
Liked: Good location. Parking on site. Wonderful host Alex. Great breakfast.
Disliked: Temperature control is not the best. It is an older building.

It is a beautiful location...
Liked: Breakfast was very good. The location was perfect-- it allowed for free parking.Finding a place to stay within walking distance was exceptional.Meeting Alex was very enjoyable, very personable. There were games if we chose to play them. The candy, nutrition bars, and other snacks was a nice touch.
Disliked: The person who greeted us did not know anything about any event in Williamsburg. Seemed odd since she represents hospitality to the area. Stating that the walking distance was "2 and a half blocks" was misleading since it was further. It didn't create a problem for us, but it was further. There were no brochures or other information about Williamsburg in the room. Would have been nice to have had some.
