Liked: My wife and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at the Cedar House Inn in St. Augustine, Florida, and I cannot recommend this charming establishment enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. They surprised us with beautiful flowers, champagne and a delightful/tasty cake, and a range of thoughtful amenities that made us feel truly special.The attention to detail in their ancillary services was remarkable. We enjoyed complimentary sodas, water, wine, and delicious cookies that added a sweet touch to our experience. The breakfast each morning was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the mastery and artisanship of the kitchen. Every meal was nothing short of incredible, setting a perfect tone for the day ahead.The property itself is immaculate and beautifully represents the Victorian era, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that draws you in. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding; they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.Additionally, the Cedar House Inn’s location is fantastic. It’s just a short walk from downtown, allowing easy access to all the sights and attractions of St. Augustine without the hassle of parking.Overall, the Cedar House Inn made our 20th anniversary celebration truly exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a delightful getaway filled with charm, comfort, and impeccable service. I cannot recommend strongly enough.

One of our favorite places...

Liked: Loved the time period of decor to house. Elegant place to have wonderfully made breakfasts that were delicious. Very friendly staff and met a lot of nice people who were also staying there. Loved the covered porch and rockers. Only dislike was the narrow stairs to second floor.

Disliked: Decor a little tired e.g. large crack in our hand basin. No plug for hand basin even after asking for one.

Relaxing stay in historic district

Liked: Loved the wrap around verandah. Cookies always available. Local black cats on the grounds.
Disliked: Breakfast was substantial but the cooking was uninspired. Weak coffee.
