Good
Liked: Friendly staff, charming, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I booked particularly for the warm, cozy fireplaces posted on the website, but neither of them were operational. That was very disappointing.

Gorgeous Victorian Inn
Liked: The Cedar Crest Inn is a splendid pink victorian mansion up a steep hill above downtown Biltmore Village. The house is quite remarkable, with original wood paneling creating a gleaming dark glamour. We had chosen the least expensive room, which was predictably on the small side, especially the bathroom, but it was comfortable and clean. The bed was probably full size rather than Queen. The Inn had only just reopened after a long closure post Hurricane Helene, and there were not many guests. They had said they were not yet serving a full breakfast, and it exceeded our expectations, with fresh yogurt berries, fruit, and granola, along with hard boiled eggs and various bars and snack packs. Hot coffee was kept out all day, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies were put out. It was a quick, completely direct drive to the heart of downtown Asheville. Biltmore Village is still being rebuilt after Helene. We were happy to be able to patronize this grande dame of a B&B as Biltmore Village starts to recover.

Cozy, romantic visit near Biltmore.
Liked: The location was close to The Biltmore, which was the primary reason for our Asheville visit. The Inn was easy to locate, ample parking, and close to restaurants. We enjoyed the breakfast for the 2 mornings that we visited. Hot coffee and hot tea were available at all times. Our room was clean and had nice amenities to make our stay comfortable. We would return here again and recommend to travelers.
Disliked: Our only disappointment was the gas fireplace was inoperable in our room (possibly the entire property) but it was mentioned upon our arrival. Our room was under the dining room and we heard many footsteps during the preparation of breakfast. We just used it as a reminder to get up and moving and made breakfast schedule on time, lol!
