Won’t stay there again.

Liked: Dinner was very enjoyable, very good food, wine excellent and the restaurant staff were caring and professional.
Disliked: Room not a deluxe as booked - dull, shabby, as was the bathroom. Window pane overlooking park, seal blown so not a clear view out. Safe locked, apparently being removed the following week! Singer in the dining room too loud, not enjoyable to listen to and difficulty trying to hold a conversation with your partner.

Liked: Quiet warm comfortable room. Helpful staff. Good choice of food for breakfast. Excellent dinner really well cooked food. Good parking and great location for walking into Harrogate. Enjoyed our time there and would certainly stay there again. Really pleased that the towels etc were not refreshed every day so wasteful.

Liked: Looks impressive from the outside and Ambers restaurant is a fabulous room and the food was good
Disliked: Our room had scaffolding outside and was completely overlooked by other rooms. Plus the extractor fan took 20mins to turn so at 2am this was really annoying. Bathroom very dated and grouting very discoloured and all skirting boards badly marked. Plus exposed bricked walls in the corridor made it feel like a prison. Rang reception to mention the extractor fan and got quite a ‘snooty’ response about the building being old and she didn’t spend much time in the rooms

Liked: Clean and tidy in a good location with parking, we were given directions into the town centre which took us 15 mins, however we found a much shorter route that took only 5 mins
Disliked: Even though I don’t have mobility issues I felt the bathroom needed grab rails.
