Wonderful Hotel but pet friendly...

Liked: It is a beautiful hotel with a grocery store next door and the Sea Shanty restaurant across the street. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. Our only issue was on Booking.com it said "pet friendly," which is the main reason we chose the hotel. In the rooms there's a sign about "pets". My elderly parents have a cat and after driving 3 hours, we were told dogs only. We were confused because it says pet friendly. So if you have a cat, choose another hotel. My suggestion is to please be specific on all booking platforms, stating dogs only to avoid confusion and inconvenience. Other than that, everything was great and we would stay again.
