Disliked: no shower gel on 2nd morning due to no cleaner not bothered about non appearance of cleaner just meanr shower gel wasnt replaced so had to use soap instead

Liked: Staff were pleasant room clean, location.
Disliked: Room heating throughout our stay wasn’t switched on, we were given two reasons 1 the central heating was broken 2 we turn it on at 19-00 hrs both untrue as the corridor radiators were on and our room radiator never came on , the room desperately needs updating and the bathroom fixtures need replacing ie shower holder broken, shower door leaking.

Liked: Evening meal was awful could'nt eat it neither could the other 3 tables staying would of refused to pay if i hadnt already been charged. Rooms were very cold went down asked for some blankets for my elderly mother to be told none was available. Shame as loved the hotel itself

Liked: The location was fine and priced very well.
Disliked: Very small point, but a couple of long black hairs io the bathroom matt. What hair I have nowadays is short and grey. So, quite clearly not mine. Only a small point, but worthy of mention.

Faded grandeur- lots of potential...

Liked: Great location friendly staff nice and warm.
Disliked: Had to ask for towels and coffee in the room. Some cobwebs, lift quite dirty.
