Liked: Old fashioned..nice large hotel/rooms/bath and shower/plenty hot water..nice bathroom..double windowed..to stop old outer windows drafts....breakfast included in offer ..comfortable bedHotel opposite sea...close to town..nice staff..
Disliked: Room cold...radiator turned to off when we arrived in room...as ceilings are very high the radiator didn't give enough heat...the curtains are so long to floor they cover radiator...so lots of the heat is trapped behind ceiling to floor thick curtains.. so we placed the lower part of curtains over the big 2 chairs to try get some heat in room....curtains above radiators would be better... (just an observation) ...we've stayed in this hotel plenty of times and this room was 1 of best...and will definitely stay again.....over the years.. iv observed they are doing they're best to improve this 'aged' hotel...and they're doing good...re updating bathrooms /furniture etc....Rated lower for cleaning because found a hair on clean pillow ...hairs on bathroom floor...and my material slippers picked up hairs from carpet....although room looked clean...obvs wasn't vacuumed well enough...also we got down to breakfast 8.40ish (not too late we thought as was told serving was till 9.30....I had to leave some of breakfast as it's obvs pre cooked and left on hot plate I'd think....the sausage was quite hard and the bacon and hash brown....however there was toast.... fruit/cereal if we'd required it....and rest of breakfast on plate was passable and welcomed....

Liked: I booked for evening meal but the kitchen was closed so they was going to refund £75. I'm yet to recieve after numerous calls.

Clean room. Disappointed with breakfast.

Liked: Size of room. Good view. Fridge in room a plus. Nice and clean. Big room.
Disliked: The bed lent into the middle when anyone laid down. So when went towards the middle of the bed. Breakfast not as nice as before when I visited last year. Also very hard to get onto reception.
