Liked: Location, friendly staff, comfortable warm rooms
Disliked: Room allocation: I had telephoned and asked for a room with a view. Allocated room no.1 with a view over the front of the hotelUpon arrival the room had been changed and the 'view' was over the health club not the front of the hotel. Staff stated that because I had not specifically requested that room the booking was changed and given to a guest who had asked for that room. An upgrade to a room with a similar view was offered, but we had already unpacked so felt it not worth moving rooms. Also the shower flow control lever was missing, so shower could not be used.

Disliked: Noise could be heard through the night and early hours of the morning which gave me two nights of broken sleep and being awake early. Banging and a whirring noise constantly. I believe my room was directly above the kitchen and bistro.
