Lovely rooms, lovely location
Liked: Very comfortable beds, lovely location, lovely pool. Very friendly staff in charge
Disliked: Unfortunately we couldn't use all the facilities because the staff had covid, and so there were no staff. The owner was apologetic

Liked: I loved the hotel for the following reasons: staff was very friendly and accommodating, their pet friendly policy did not include any pet deposits, food at the restaurant was great and having a pool, bon fire and a trail out back was amazing. The only issue was that one of our bedrooms did not have AC and it was very hot and stuffy during the night for us. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this great hotel!
Disliked: I think all bedrooms should have an AC unit during summer

Check the weather before booking
Liked: The lady at the front desk was nice
Disliked: I booked 2 nights to stay here with my family. When we arrived at the hotel it was raining really hard. There was a storm going on. Therefore, the hotel had no power. The young lady at the front desk was very nice. She apologized for the inconvenience and told me that the power would hopefully be restored soon. My family and I were tired, but we waited for a little bit, but ultimately decided to book a last-minute option at another hotel 45 minutes away from this hotel. I was told by the young lady at the front desk that we were gonna get a refund and we left. Long story short, a couple of days after I received a text from the hotel saying that I would get a full refund for the first night and a 50% refund for the second night. I replied to the hotel, emphasizing that the situation of them not having power wasn't my fault. I was actually expecting a full refund. They replied back to me with a "it wasn't our fault either." Do yourself a favor and check the weather for the days you are booking before you book at this hotel. They do not have a backup plan if they lose power, and well, you already know what will happen if you decide to get a refund.

Loved it
Liked: The staff and inn owner David were super friendly and helpful. I had a room with a fireplace. The staff members made sure fire and room was set nicely upon my arrival. I was tired from work so I ate and had a couple of drinks at the Pub area with the other guests. Overall, great time! Will be back.
