Very close to both Lincoln...
Liked: Very comfortable large bed. Plentiful breakfasts with a wide choice of cereals, fruit and hot food.. Very interesting Grade 2 listed building with stone floors and bare walls, original beams etc. Staff Keely and Linda were very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Owner Paul was incapacitated so we didn't meet him, but he was extremely helpful over the 'phone prior to our visit. A parking space on the premises an appreciated bonus.
Disliked: Very minor points compared with the many positive ones! Excessive heat in room and bathroom (no shower cap provided) and a shortage of electrical sockets in room. Stairs steep and uneven but to be expected as part of such a lovely old building. None of these things would stop us from staying here again!

Perfect place to stay if...
Liked: Location excellent for the Cathdral and restaurants. Private parking a bonus. Staff very friendly and obliging. Walk and Ride bus right by the Cathedral so handy to get to the shopping area. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location
Liked: Old building in the heart of the castle/cathedral area. Great breakfast. Warm, caring staff. Lots of hot water from an adequate shower. Free private parking.
Disliked: Lack of chair and table in a big room. Would also have liked a longer/lower mirror. No non-caffeine tea in the room and basic biscuits.

Very enjoyable. We would return...
Liked: Very good choice of around 6 cooked breakfast options besides fruit & cereals. Location in the historic Cathedral area was ideal with good surrounding bars, restaurants & takeaways. Room / en-suite very clean & well decorated.
Disliked: Location excellent for the historic area, but distanced from the city centre by 'THE STEEP HILL' We walked down OK, but taxied back for less than a tenner, so no real problem.

Enjoyed our stay. Great friendly...
Liked: Good choice of breakfast. Location couldn't have been better.
Disliked: Bannister rail needs to reach bottom steps to ground level.A larger double bed would have been a boom.
