Liked: The location is excellent for visiting the Cathedral and town (1 minute away).The full english breakfast was freshly cooked and so they prefer a time when you wish it.The staff are excellent, respectful and do whatever they can to provide.Clean rooms and areas, very old world style but very nice.Hotel is far larger than it initially looks. Ask to see more than one room. For peace, select a back room or wear earplugs (provided).
Disliked: We had a front room (our choice of two presented) which looked onto the street. Great view but did not think of the noise from people outside at night and early morning service vehicles.Extra charge for full english. Don't think this was highlighted.Fairly small breakfast room used (likely due to kitchen location.One bay window seating, rest are within a smallish room with no other windows except the bay window.The basic breakfast is simple, not a buffet continental as you would be offered in many places.Heating was controlled and not very warm but comfortable bed and linen makes up for it.

Liked: Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff. Paid extra for a cooked breakfast, which was worth the money.Quirky, uneven floors, and a wonderful sense of history!
Disliked: Tiny shower room, but not really unexpected due to the age of the building!

Liked: Location, quirkiness. Super helpful receptionist Monica. Smily, charming and dressed in a Christmas costume added to the enjoyable atmosphere of this place. We even had a 4 poster!
