Catalonia El Pilar is located in Zaragoza's old town 2 minutes' walk from the central market and the Basilica del Pilar. It offers a modern gym and rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. El Pilar is housed in an early 20th-century building designed in Modernist style and it still has the original wooden elevators. All rooms at Hotel Catalonia El Pilar have air conditioning and heating. They feature a private bathroom with hairdryer as well as a work desk and free safety deposit box. The hotel has a restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast and traditional Aragonese food for dinner. There are also various restaurants and tapas bars within a 5-minute walk. We had a busy visit...

Liked: I loved the location. We had a wonderful view of procession from our balcony. The roomw was clean and comfortable.

We had a magnificent stay...

Liked: Fantastic location! Really comfortable beds, bathroom quite spacious, nice amenities, helpful staff.
Disliked: The fake wood floors in bedroom are hideous. It really cheapens the look of the hotel

A beautifully renovated historic building...

Liked: Perfect location, lovely view from the balcony to a beautiful plaza.The room was well equipped - extremely comfortable and quiet.Very friendly and helpful staff.The breakfast was outstanding - a delightful start to the day. Fresh yogurt, fruits, nuts, honey, a fruit machine to make fresh juice, fresh cakes, breads, a variety of cheese, hams, teas and a good coffee machine.

Good base for few days...

Liked: Good base for few days stay in Zaragoza. Comfortable, centrally located hotel in old town. Located in pleasant square with nearby bar and coffee shop and within short walk to main sights, cathedrals, central market, tram stop, river and main shopping street. Pleasant and efficient staff, (gave good recommendations for local restaurants). Good breakfasts.Nothing on negative side to complain about.
