Very nice place to stay. Centrally located to nightlife and the many restaurants around. From the train station google directed us towards the canal - it's a lovely scenic walk but if you have a suitcase the cobbled areas make it difficult and then there are two sets of steps to get to the hotel. Alternatively, come out of the station and turn right, cross at the crossing opposite the Hilton, and that road is Liverpool Rd, continue down, and the hotel will be on the left. The staff are very welcoming, thanks to Thea for making it even better. The staff are very accommodating to your needs. Thanks also to Maria, who served us behind the bar. Our room was immaculate. We were on the street side, which can be noisy, but the double glazed windows helped. Although we slept with the windows open, it was fine for us. We were able to use the Y Club with gym, full-length swimming pool, steam, and sauna rooms free of charge. You need a £ coin for the lockers, and towels are provided. Overall, we had a wonderful two night stay and will definitely be returning. In addition, the hotel is charity run, so anything you buy goes towards helping the community youths, which is an added bonus.

I highly recommend the Castlefield...

Liked: I stayed at the Castlefield for a Hyrox event at the Manchester Central Convention Centre which is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Me and my partner had a lovely time, the hotel is modern with excellent facilities. Being attached to a large gym with swimming pool made it the perfect place to be. Special shout out to Jamie on reception. I believe it was his first day when we arrived but he was fantastic, very helpful and professional.
Disliked: No bin in the batchroom which could have been awkward.
