As near as perfect as...

Liked: What di we like? Everything, the room/bed/facilities. Great breakfast. All the staff were friendly & helpful & the room/hotel was very clean with a very fresh smell. A double room at a very good price in an ideal place to visit the town centre (market place) with the Corn Exchange venue close by.
Disliked: We did not find anything that detracted from our enjoyable stay.

Excellent staff, excellent hotel, great...

Liked: The staff were absolutely great and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great and the staff brilliant.
Disliked: The only thing I would say is more electrical sockets and in a location that is a little more accessible for this day and age for chargers, computers etc.But this is not just aimed at The Castle, most hotels could do with a re-think on modern requirements.

A friendly place to stay.

Liked: It was a very welcoming place to stay. Our evening meal was brilliant and the breakfast gave us a great start to the day. We were also pleased to be able to park under one of the arches.
Disliked: Everything was fine, thank you

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff.Rugby was on telly in hotel when I arrived. Good atmosphere throughout. Interesting old Hotel.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was well sorted.

Disliked: We allways stay there and now they have had a refurbishment it’s even better
