Re arrange from Castle to...

Liked: We did not stay at Castle Hotel.3 days notice to say due to works being carried out our stay was re arranged to MacDonald. Therefore, I cannot comment on Castle Hotel, only to say we ate at The Leaf Restaurant there 1 night and food and staff were superb, especially waitress Ruby-Rose, who went above and beyond in checking out protocal on allergy . Steak was on a par with Marco Pierre White. Would highly recommend. The chef made arrangements to cook according to fish allergy needs. Which we were grateful about. The concierge was excellent at transferring our luggage on arrival and departure to Macdonald. Both hotels are excellent locationsWould be happy to write a review for Macdonald as that was where we actually stayed.
