Liked: Everything was a great experience to be honest, we stayed for Valentine’s Day and had a great time the restaurant and bar was also great and the staff are very accommodating

Liked: I wasn’t keen on the shower. The shower head was way too high and I struggled to get my hair rinsed. EVERYTHING else was spot on.

Liked: Had a really nice stay! Staff were friendly and it was only a 5 minute taxi into the centre.

Liked: Lovely grounds and building. Comfortable beds and a good bathroom.
Disliked: There was some queing for a breakfast table if you wait until after 9:30am. The cooking of bacon and sausages was poor on day 1. I mentioned this to staff and on day 2 the bacon was fine but the sausages were still not cooked properly and tasted cheap.

Liked: Spotlessly clean hotel surrounded by lovely gardens.Easy online check in Beds and pillows were very comfortable ...room was dark and warm at night.Good bathroom facilities...lovely big bath and shower with good quality toiletries.Breakfast was fabulous - we were spoilt for choice.Very professional,friendly staff at breakfast time
Disliked: We knew we didn't have a garden view but what we got was a view of an grass bank that was very close to the windows which blocked out most of the natural light.Also we went for dinner at the night time.Decided to chose from the light bites as we weren't too hungry.Was unhappy to be told that chosing from this menu meant we were restricted to where we sat and was put up the corner with a table facing a hedge.The food ,however, was very tasty and cooked to perfection.

Liked: Great location for exploring the lakes. A1 service from reception staff, very helpful. Housekeeping good, room spacious and comfortable. Provision of car parking spaces.
Disliked: Restaurant has few choices and is expensive for meals and drinks. 2.5 hour waited advised for hotel resident to get a table , Alexander's closed - opted for room service which had a hefty tray charge.
