Liked: Great location and easy to find The restaurant food was exceptional and great value for money The room was very clean Lovely friendly staff
Disliked: The spa….. as a hotel resident I was disappointed that you had to pay 20€ per person to use a spa that had limited use. The steam room wasn’t working and the jacuzzi needed a good clean.I asked one staff member about the remains of the castle….. she was clueless; maybe information like this should be part of their induction?!!

Disliked: They were very short staffed. It was a huge problem. Guy at the bar looked like he was going to kill me with his looks because obviously he was so stressed and annoyed that we asked for an order. Very rude. Everything else was perfect so this was annoying

Fabulous stay at this superb...

Liked: Location lovely - a golf hotel so on a golf course, beautiful views and very peaceful. Hotel is part of an old castle so very original, stately, classy.Staff very helpful and friendly. The spa offered a wide range of treatments. Altogether exceeded our expectations.
Disliked: Only tiny thing is the spa only open 10-6 so I couldn't get a treatment unfortunately. And would have loved a swimming pool!
