Staff is extremely friendly and helpful; rooms are clean and bed was comfy. I will book again at Castillo Real.

Liked: Nice big room with a comfy bed. Nice view and can see how nice it will be once construction is complete.
Disliked: People next door did nothing but smoke weed all day so that's all you smelled. The cards kept dying so we had to go back every day to have them redone. Also paying for parking in the hotel parking lot is weird.

Disliked: It was under construction, and I was only informed of that after booking,the shower also could use a shelf or something, not up kept well

Overall it was ok

Liked: The room and staff was very nice and it was really close to the beach and restaurants
Disliked: The sheets had stains on them and the room was a little dirty. There were also really loud neighbors screaming at 1am. Walls are very thin.

Confortable and clean

Liked: Architecture was beautiful, bathrooms have a really nice and esthetic appliances, and I could watch the sunrise from my room, definitely will come back
Disliked: Only thing was the air conditioner made a loud noise when it started and it woke me up a couple times.

This hotel must be removed...

Liked: The hotel was well located and room looked pretty.
Disliked: We have been notified of ongoing renovations only 24h prior arrival, it wasn't announced at all on Booking or on the hotel website. There wasn't even a front desk, just someone with a laptop on a cart. That's when we learned all amenities were closed (including the restaurant) due to renovations but they still charge an extra 10$ for parking. The floor in common area was covered in plastic sheeting and tools were all over the place. There was no overhead light in the room. We did not have enough bath towel. In the shower there was no hot water (barely warm) and the pressure was very low.This hotel does not meet the standard of Booking

Disappointing

Liked: The decor of the hotel was very nice and the location was great.
Disliked: The bathroom was dirty and full of mold. The sheets in the room were all stained and dirty. There was a dead bedbug trapped in the telephone that grossed us out and made us feel too anxious to sleep. The website did say they were having some renovations done but they did not tell us the extent of it. Had we known we would have stayed somewhere else.
